Refund and Returns Policy

Effective Date: 19 February 2026

This policy applies to purchases made on Gunjan Chudi (“we/us/our”).


1) Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation within 12 hours of placing the order and before the order is packed/handed to courier.
Orders that are packed, dispatched, or in transit cannot be cancelled.
If you request cancellation after packing has started (but before dispatch), we will try our best to stop shipment; however, if shipment is already processed, the order will follow the Return/Refund process (if eligible).
Refunds (if applicable) will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval (payment gateway/RBI timelines may also apply).
Cancellation requests must be sent via email/phone with Order ID and registered phone number.
No cancellation fee is charged for eligible cancellations. However, if the order is undelivered/returned due to customer reasons (wrong address, refused delivery, not available), actual shipping and handling charges may be deducted from the refund.

2) Returns Eligibility (Retail Orders)

We accept returns for eligible retail orders within 7 days of delivery, provided:
– Product is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in resalable condition.
– Original packaging, tags, invoice, and accessories are intact.
– Items showing use, scratches, perfume/chemical smell, breakage after use, or missing tags/packaging are not eligible.

3) Wholesale / Bulk Orders (B2B) – Special Terms

No return/exchange for change of mind, design preference, size selection, shade difference, or market demand issues.
Any shortage, transit damage, or manufacturing defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with:
– Unboxing video (recommended/required for damage claims) and clear photos
– Outer packaging images (courier label visible)
After 48 hours, the order will be treated as accepted and closed (no claims).
For approved wholesale defect cases, resolution may be replacement / repair / credit note, based on stock availability and practicality.

4) Damaged / Defective / Wrong Item (Retail + Wholesale)

Inform us within 24 hours (recommended) and not later than 48 hours of delivery.
Provide unboxing video/photos for verification (especially for breakage/damage).
If the parcel seal is tampered, please record the opening and share immediately.
Once verified, we will offer replacement/exchange or refund (as applicable).

5) Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

– Customized / personalized bridal sets
– Clearance / Sale items (unless defective or wrong item delivered)
– Any item that is used/worn, altered, or returned without original packaging/tags
– Items with minor natural variations in color/finish/stone placement typical to handmade/photography/screen differences (these are not treated as defects)

6) Refund Policy

Returns are processed only after we receive and inspect the product.
If approved, refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after QC approval (bank/payment gateway timelines may apply).
Shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our verified mistake (wrong/defective item).
If a return is rejected in QC, we can ship it back to the customer (shipping charges may apply).

7) Exchange Policy

Exchanges are available only for verified defective/damaged/wrong items, subject to stock availability.
If the same item is unavailable, we may offer alternative item / store credit / refund (case-to-case).
Exchanges are not available for customized or sale items (unless defective/wrong).

8) Return Shipping & Logistics

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges, except when the product is verified as defective/damaged/wrong due to our error.
Use a trackable courier and pack the item safely to avoid transit damage.
We are not responsible for loss/damage during return shipment if sent without tracking/secure packaging.

9) How to Initiate a Return / Claim (RMA Required)

To start a return/claim, contact support with:
– Order ID, registered phone number
– Reason for return/claim
– Photos/videos (unboxing proof for damage claims)
We will confirm eligibility and share the return instructions/address.
Returns sent without approval/RMA may be refused.
